Contribute app has no mechanisms for/to:

  1. warn when our connection networks are not performing well and we keep posting (photos/videos specially) blindly. Nor does the app do the unfinished work later when internet signals get better.

  2. no warning system for helping us avoid duplication of photos.

  3. We can’t see our old photos by directly typing some key information like date, place names etc. We have to browse blindly through thousands of photos to reach a date or photo… this is often needed to confirm whether we have made any photo duplication or there is no uploading altogether.

Although later, the app removes the doubly posted photos but what if the photo hasn’t succeeded to post even once? How to know this…

On page which displays the photos posted by us, there are two options for viewing pictures: newest and most viewed. Few more options can be added like ‘recently posted’ (irrespective of date of capture), location or place of photo etc. There can be a search bar where we type what kind of photos we need to see at that moment. Apart from default (newest), there can be other modes available to view our photo list all the time.
