Singapore imports all our fruits from overseas and many non-Singaporeans might not know the challenges of a small country (land scarce) like Singapore. Food security is top priority of the government.

Hey @JSeng so what real fruit from Singapore ? ,
@Austinelewex Singapore is very small. It is about 700 square kilometres for about 6 millions population. We do not have enough land for agriculture.
@Nyainurjanah we used to have mango, durian, rambutan etc tropical fruits. But not anymore as the land is used for residential, commercial and industrial uses. No more land for agriculture.
I see @JSeng , so that’s not too bad give chance for other land for other farmer sale their fruit to Singapore
I didn’t actually know this @JSeng but it makes sense when you take into account the size of the country. I suppose fruits and vegetables are not entirely cheap then if everything is imported.
How about meat and dairy?

Hi @MortenSI , over 90% of Singapore food is imported. That includes meat and dairy products.
