I’m a local guide and have put my experience for our daycare/childcare. I don’t have any symbols, there is positives and negatives. No community guidelines have been crossed.
How do I appeal this review so others can make a good choice for their children?
The daycare recently offered money for people to review them so they are higher. (I had already posted my review a year earlier and didn’t know that it was hidden.
Can anyone help?
Hi @Hartley
There is nothing new or wrong when Google takes down reviews. Their aim to only take down reviews that are violating the guidelines. Business owners can not take down reviews they don’t like. The process is pretty much automated so mistakes do happen.
I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 165 reviews and only 152 of them are public.
You may want to take a look at
the review guidelines.
Read about typical review guideline violations here. And please see my post called 4 Tips on writing better reviews.
If you are on a Desktop use this link to Count your hidden contributions. From a mobile device use this link.
If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden check this post.
Your public reviews look fine to me so please use the form called Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.
The EU has mandated Google and other review platforms to be transparent and allow users to appeal when a review gets taken down.
Best of luck
