My experience in 2011 when i had to travel from South West of Nigeria to Eastern part of Nigeria had made me to realize the importance of shelter to be on the topmost list of the essentials of life.
In Nigeria every graduate of higher institution of learning must obey the clarion call of the father land to serve for a year compulsorily in a land far from his home and with a language different from his mother tongue. The purpose is to foster Love, Unity and Peace among the people of the country of over 500 different languages. Meeting new people is not the problem but understanding the language they speak in their village is the first challenge.
When i got to Anambra State my major challenge was accommodation problem, no place to sleep and no one among the stack illiterate i met that late in the night understood simple English. It was dark and I had no browsing phone to search for nearest police station or hotels. All i could do was to sleep in cold of fear in car pack till the following money. then i realised the importance of travelling and accommodation for tourist and especially students coming from another states to study.
