Hi Friends,
Regularly we use “Rasam” in Tamil Nadu people eaten with rice. Every south Indian who take rice it will be one of the menu. Recently I read news of IndiaTV that “Rasam dish which is not just tasty but also an immunity booster” I was in awe when I saw that news. So I proudly share our great and traditional recipe.
Required : Tamarind, tomato, Garlic, Block pepper, cumin, coriander, try chilli, mustard, cooking oil, asafetida powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves, and curry leaves
Prepration :
- Soak tamarind in water add a some turmeric powder and salt
- Squeeze and filter the tamarind juice
- Smash the tomato and add to tamarind juice
- Grind the pepper and cumin, make it as a powder
- Heat up a pan and then add cooking oil, mustard, asafetida, powder, try chilli and curry leaves
- Later add the prepared tamarind juice and grindted powder with smashed garlic
- Boil the mixture for 10 min, until the foam arrives
- Garnish it with coriander leaves
Now our healthy and traditional “Rasam” is ready. Taste it and lead a healthy life. (IndiaTV news : Want to build your immunity against corona virus?)
