Hi everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment to share my excitement about the Monthly Updates that Google sends us Local Guides. I find them to be incredibly motivating, and they always make me want to contribute even more to the Google Maps community.
In my July update, I was thrilled to see that I had accumulated over 170,735 points, which makes me a Level 10 Local Guide! I’m also proud to say that I submitted 218 contributions in the last month, and my photos have been viewed over 1 million times.
I’m always looking for new ways to contribute to Google Maps, and I love seeing how my work helps others. I’m especially passionate about writing reviews and adding photos, because I believe that they can make a real difference in people experiences.
If you’re not already a Local Guide, I highly recommend joining the program! It’s a great way to connect with other travelers, learn about new places, and make a positive impact on the world.
Here are some of my tips for getting started as a Local Guide:
- Start by adding photos of the places you visit. This is a great way to share your experiences with others and help them plan their own trips.
- Write reviews of the places you’ve been. Be honest and helpful, and focus on providing useful information that will help other travelers make informed decisions.
- Answer questions about places in Google Maps. This is a great way to share your knowledge and help others plan their trips.
- Check out the Local Guides Connect forum. This is a great place to connect with other Local Guides, learn new things, and get help with anything you need.
I hope these tips help you get started as a Local Guide! I’m so glad to be a part of this community, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Thanks for reading,
Marco Delgado
