I'm not alone and you have shifted my mindset.These are reasons why Local Guide means to me.

Hello Everyone! I am Laliyah from Thailand and local bangkokian :thailand: .Currently, I’m a Local Guide Level 6 on Google Maps.

I have been a LG contributor around 4 years when I am far away from home.I have joined this platform because I want to keep my food and travelling experience as a journey to relieve loneliness. It’s a common that most of my photos are food & beverage.

When I receieve emails from Local Guides about viewers and likes, I feel I am not alone.The platform and others know how my contribution useful. I stay more positve and challenge myself to be a better food explorer by uploading photos, adding new place, facts checking and answering. I love facts checked and answered because these parts are very vital information as a user and there are simply easy methods. Moreover, adding new place is also crucial. When I found missing places, I think I should complete or provide a current fact to enhance Google Map to be informative and creditable.

Feedback from my surrounding people eg. I enjoy photographing alone, get in touch with different people and explore new dishes. I gradually develop my soul and lifestyle. My friends named me as “Food Influencer”. I found I love the way as local informative contributor to help people and small business owners. I was surprising that I made an impact with total 1M+ views photos and highest views photo is a common photo taking on my car.

Last, I would like to say thank you Local Guides platform to connect people around the world and share helpful information and experience. I want to share readers about my favourite places as List, If you have a chance to visit Bangkok. Don’t miss!

Thanks and see you,

Laliyah

@Nasir11 thank you

Hi @Laliyah_n8 and welcome to Connect!

I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Thai language tag of your post as it’s written in English. These labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides who are speakers of these languages. You can learn more about language tags in the article: How do I find posts in my preferred language?.

@Laliyah_n8 Many times the most casual and unsuspecting photo is the most viewed, the most successful, the most shocking; many people see your photos and your publications, you are not alone!
I invite you to vote for my idea:
