I'm level 5 with 637 point and I still haven't got the pin

I’m level 5 with 637 points I have over 600 points and still haven’t got the pin reward. I’m wondering if I am gonna ever get it one of my friends have got one and he is level 4

If you expect rewards for your efforts then Local Guides isn’t the best place for you. We are all volunteers. We do what we do to help Maps Users and the community. If you get a reward then it’s a bonus, not a right.

There is no pattern, and there’s no fairness in who gets rewards. It is just a marketing gimmick.

My motivation is the joy of knowing that I’m helping a lot of people and businesses. Also, making new friends here on Connect can be considered a great perk. I find it very rewarding being a Local Guide.

Hang in there, keep up the good work and maybe one day it’ll be your turn.

And finally, make sure Rewards is selected in your email settings found here. And update the location to show your current location.

Don’t feel down, my friend. Your hard work will pay off someday, even if we don’t know when. But remember, the joy you get from contributing and making friends is more valuable than any reward you might receive. So keep contributing and stay positive!

Hello fellow LG…the AI algorithm will choose randomly for the freebie… I received my pin at level 9 with 50000 points… Be patient… Continue posting… Continue your reviews… U will be rewarded sooner or later…
