If you come to the Dominican Republic, and want to be in pleasure and have an encounter with beautiful nature you just cant miss La Toma balneary in the province of San Cristobal, 10 min from the central park of the little town can take you there, all the signs and people can guide you there easy.
but the main story behind this beauty is that, dead president Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, liked the place before was build the balneary, but he ordered to build a big pool with water slides and two big waterfalls that makes look beautifull from everywhere you see it.
La Toma is an easy accesible place with a big parking inside with a little pay as well as the entrance to the pool place, but some restricctions are made like you cant bring pets, food or drinks from outside.
