Today I saw a notification from @Atsukot and when I checked it, the status of the idea proposed as a beta tester is changed to “In progress”. I was thrilled.

This is an excellent example of how seriously the Google Local Guides program is considering your ideas shared in the Idea Exchange.
Share your ideas on the Idea Exchange Board and it will be addressed by the Local Guides Program.
Excellent idea… if it happens, will be a great platform to know each other and share experiences. I suggest to have Summit in Asia, Europe, America,. It encourages LGs a lot
Yes, I totally agree with this. Even before Idea Exchange or Connect, they always listen to our ideas. I remember giving them some feedback on the private Local Guides community in G+ (official community used before Connect) and it was implemented eventually. There were also a few ideas and feedback I proposed over the years that became reality. I’m not saying it’s solely due to my suggestion, as there were also many others that either suggested the same/similar idea, or backed on my idea, but the bottom line is, the team is always listening. And if the feedback makes sense, they will implement it. So if you have an idea, always propose it in the Idea Exchange board.
Well said @AnuradhaP it is fantastic to see ideas both from the summits (now Connect Live) and from the Idea Exchange come to fruition. Quite a few of them have been implemented are or being implemented.
Thank you @AnuradhaP . You are a real Local Guide. I appreciate you. I am one of them Who is selected for the summit but missed the chance because of VISA problem. Now I have a new hope.
