Ice Ice Palace is a new ice cream shop that I’ve added to Google Maps on the beginning of this week. There was a friend on Twitter who opened up this business and shared a tweet about the place. I reached to him through a direct message after reading many tweet replies asking for it’s location yet I tried to search for it on the Google Maps and it did not existed on the Maps.
As I continued explaining to him some of the benefits of adding the place to Google Maps, he went on and sent me more photos and gave me the authority to upload them since they were not taken with my camera, luckly enough, he was a professional photographer so the photos came to me in high quality.
I added the place finally and he was happy for that. I’m happy that this might be one of my favourite contributions after the time of a lockdown. And I like it when I see my contributions helping others.
