Being a Google Developer Group Spain (GDG.es) organizer from 6 years ago, and organizing dozens of events every year, I feel a Local Guides Meetup around cities and towns in Spain (and abroad) can be a good idea.
Starting slowly with no more obligations that meeting with other colleagues or interested people, and growing inviting other local communities like IGers (Instagrammers) and many more can be also good ideas to start.
@AndreuIbanez Hi there! Glad to know about your interests to host a meet up. It’s actually really straight forward. All the resources and application page can be found below in this link.

Just as a summary
-
Decide on place, time, and activity to cover (you can refer to the link for ideas)
-
Create the meet up by writing as much necessary information as possible such as where and when to meet, what is the agenda, cost if any, what to bring etc. Submit the event for approval.
-
Once it’s approved, it will get posted automatically in LG Connect and you will get an email alert. You can then share the RSVP link or the post to anyone who is interested. They can RSVP etc.
-
Once the meet up is done, you can write a recap about the event in LG Connect to share all the interesting things that was done.
Hope this helps and all the best for your meet ups!
