Yesterday I saw a couple of comments about number of photos views of different contributors. And it was like a few millions views per few (tens of) thousand photos.
I’m new here and previously I didn’t pay too much attention to this stats but now I wonder what is the typical proportion? Because my stats looks quite different. I guess it depends a lot on geography but still interesting to know…
Also does “view” means actually someone clicked and watched photo or it also includes views of thumbnails in list?

How many views a picture will get depends on a lot of variables.
This are some of them:
(a) How long the photo has been online
(b) The popularity of the POI (the more popular, the more likely photos will be viewed), and
(c) Is it the featured photo for the POI
(d) Brightness/ contrast and vivid colours
