I will not be Over You - Meet India Local Guides in person

Almost three years I joined Local Guides Program, I met so many nice and friendly people through this program. Some of them from different countries, and we just connectted using this platform, or social media like Facebook Groups, Instagram or WhatsApp Group.

I like travelling, so according to my own tips about travelling, you can see in this link, https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Dos-Before-Making-Itenerary/td-p/1365877

One of my tips was CONTACT the LOCAL GUIDES Community in that area! So I did!

When I got my tickets in November 2019, I contacted @rajuroyal , as we were friends since 2 years ago. I also contacted @ReshamDas and @AmbrishVarshney

Slowly but sure, I researched and arranged all my itenerary in 3 month prior my arrival. @rajuroyal lived in Gujarat, so we arranged meet up in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

One week before my arrival, @IshantHP_ig suggest me, to make video, to let India Local Guides know that I will go there. And I surprised when @TravellerG contacted me, and he quickly arranged India Local Guides to welcome me in their cities.

Agra Local Guides @Nitishgautam made a Photowalk meetup in Taj Mahal, Rajasthan Local Guides @Chandan-shrivastav made a Food Crawl Meet Up, and Delhi Local Guides@AmbrishVarshney made a Food Crawl Meet Up.

I am amazed by their togetherness to welcomed me, even @TravellerG made a post specially for me. WOW! https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Welcome-LG-Devi-Dmitra-to-India-TravellerG/td-p/2183515

Agra Local Guides, welcomed me in unique way, they came to train station, wait in front of my couch! really… when I got off the train, soon the give me bucket of Rose flower and give me flowers in my neck. Feel like Celebrity here.

In this photowalk meetup, some of the attendees comes from different cities, they travelled for minimum 5 hours to Agra, just to meet me.

Jaipur was my second city. In here I met Raju for the first time, we are best friends, so when we met, we had long discussion, although, we just travelled so far.

I met Rajasthan Local Guides in Day 5, they made a Food Crawl Meetup in lunch time. They picked me up at 10 AM, so we had photowalks together to Patrika Gate and Alberthall Museum before lunch. I had already met @Chandan-shrivastav the Host at Agra, so we easily connected. I met nice friends from Rajasthan Local Guides, Vijay, Vikas so many kind people.

When we said goodbye, feel like I lost something. ?

New Delhi was the last stop, I came by train, and surprise! @TravellerG @shasank @BunnyAyush picked me up in train station.

@TravellerG hometown is far away from Delhi, but he managed to come! I am speechless. We had photowalks to Connought Place and India Gate, I amazed by his strength! Even I felt so tired!

By the evening, I met other Delhi LGs in Food Crawl Meet Up. I just sleep in taxi, since it was traffic jam. But when I met them, feel so much energy inside… hahahaha… We had nice dinner, I was full! Then in that meetup, LGs from all around India made video call… I feel happy talk to Tejal, Shruti, Ishant, and others too.

@Tejal @Shrut19

I want to claim that I am Solo Travelling to India, but I can’t! hahaha, I met lot of friends, made new friendship. How to say it, It was a MEETUP WALK in INDIA!

Too Bad, my time and budget was limited, otherwise, I will travel and explore more.

Thank You all India Local Guides for all you have done to me. ?

I will be over You, from TOTO’s song, that’s not the right phrase!
I guess, I leave my heart in India, I fell in love with the warm hearted India Local Guides.

I will not be Over You, Will not…
