I went to Greece from USA and met someone who identified me on Google!

I went to the Parthenon in Athens, Greence in November, 2019 - and would you believe it or not, there was a person who recognized me from Google.

I was with my girlfriend and we were listening to Rick Steve’s guides for Parthenon, understanding everything we were observing. We were near the Theater of Dionysus and a European guy and his wife come up to me and said, “You are Upen, right?”. I was shocked, but said, “Yes”, for which he replied, “My wife and I saw your post about the Lycabettus Hill just now and decided to go there tonight!”. I was shocked and asked how he identified me. I had my photo as as the display picture, and that would explain that.

Anyway, that was when I realized the power of Google. You could go to a country where only Greek is spoken and people could still appreciate your Google post either because they know English, or because they saw nice picture you took on your Google Pixel phone!

I was thoroughly impressed by this!
