How did some of the places I frequent get back to me for an review

Hi @SharonBatton it’s is simple is you are buying something online after the purchase of a week you’ll get a mail regarding how the products are blah blah like that when you visit a place google knows you cos it’s links in you phone.

In my opinion, you have given access of your location history to google and whatever places you visit got recorded in your travel history and google on basis of your travel history ask you to review those places which can help other visitors.
Let me tell you my current experience. I visited Dubai last week and first two days I was in real trouble as I was not able to get vegetarian food. Then all of a sudden, I thought of taking help from google and when I searched for “Vegetarian Restaurants Near Me”, I got a big list with lots of reviews from people who actually visited that places. It helped me to chose a nice and affordable vegetarian restaurant very near to me.
All thanks to Google Guides. And now you too are a google guide and with your reviews you can help other people.
