I asked a question on google maps to help me because when I was in Florida I wrote like 50 reviews and every single one didn’t show up publicly. I didn’t break any rules I don’t think. I thought maybe because all of them were written in like a 20-minute time period so maybe they thought it was fake? I’m not sure, but is my account suspended? Can you check to see if my account has been suspended? Hi and welcome to Connect @Ferrari2
No your account has not be suspended! As you have suggested, it is most likely the fact that you wrote some 50 reviews in a 20-minute time period that has triggered the AI filters to at least delay posting them. I suggest that you wait a few days for this process to complete. In the meantime I have browsed through some of your reviews and note that many are just one liners! This can also be a trigger! Why don’t you take the time to write more informative “better quality reviews” that will not only provide better information to others but will also help you gain extra points (10 bonus points per review for reviews with more than 200 characters)!!!
As you are fairly new to the Connect Community, in case you haven’t already done so, to help you quickly get your feet on the ground here and to make your experience even better, I recommend that you check out Your guide to Connect. Also, should you need any help you can always refer to our Help Desk. Other great articles to read include How do I write a post on Connect and How do I follow the original content guidelines on Connect. Finally, I recommend that you take a moment to introduce yourself and get to know other Local Guides in the Community via the our monthly Introduce Yourself post.
Ok thanks. Is there a reason why the last 40 or 50 aren’t showing up publicly?
For the reasons I previously mentioned, I suggest that you wait a few days @Ferrari2 and see if any of the subject reviews start appearing and then if not, provide your details on the Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps asking for your account to be investigated.
Makes sense. Thank you for your suggestions!
Hi @Ferrari2
I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 481 reviews and only 398 of them are public.
Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)
Read about typical review guideline violations here.
If you are on a Desktop use this link to Count your hidden contributions. From a mobile device use this link.
If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden please see this post.
Currently, your issue might not be your fault. Please read Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps. And, make a reply to request your account also be investigated.
Reviews are continually monitered. But waiting is not likely to fix your problem.
Writing a lot of reviews in a short time can indicate spam.
I think your short ride reviews from Orlando contain repetitive phrases. The filter is very sensitive to copied texts. They are also not very helpful.
Best of luck
Morten
Could you check again to see if I was banned? I wrote another review very detailed with pictures for something in boston and it didn’t get accepted as well as a bunch of stuff in cape cod, not sure why.
