Hello to All,
Here in this post for Connect Live 2020, and as a Jordanian LG in Amman, I am sharing with you what I’ve done of my contributions on Google Maps that led me to unlock L9 over the past 3 years. Receiving an Email every month as I am a TOP LG of 1% in Amman not because I am a celebrity @TraciC or a UFC Champion, or even a WWE Wrestler hahaha. I am A LG and proud.
What are Maps Contributions?
The Maps are very important to our living in this planet. TONS of people around the world became addicted with Google Maps, and our lives got so more comfortable than before Maps’ existence. As a LG, my maps’ contributions have made an effective edited contents, more helpful and meaningful that will help people who use Google Maps.
During the last three years , when I started editing places, adding places, drawing roads, checking facts, uploading HQ photos, videos, ratting places, and post my review on the Maps in LGs program, I’ve gotten happy, and new distinguished matter to me. I’ve started to do a major changes on Googles’ Maps that been approved , and it’s really my proudness as a LG in Amman, Jordan.
Let’s start.
Photos & Videos:
What is better than you can check a POIs’ details on the Maps when seeing a photos and videos to that POIs before arriving them and from a far distances?. I can’t imagine Google maps without Photos & Videos, they are very informative for TONS of people around the world. As a matter of fact, I got a 4,880,000 photos’ view and is being increased up, and so Videos. Got the Master Badge Photographer, and the Expert badge Director.
Down here is high quality video clip shows the interior of a public park and been uploaded to the site on the Maps.
Checking facts:
We all know that changes of the geography on the lands are very common either by the people who own places, Municipality, or by the Nature conditions. It’s very common an Owner of a POI closes it, move it to another place, or maybe rename it, or even make any changes of the details , and as a LG, I have to check if those changes true or not. Being accurate to check those facts is the most important matter to me and it is honesty & magnanimity. That results in real help for Maps’ users in my country or around the world. I’ve gotten the master fact finder badge.
Drawing Roads & Adding Places:
A Hundreds of Roads and Places are being added on the lands around the world everyday.
A real Challenges ! How accurate are you to add a Places or to draw a Roads on the Maps ? It’s not considered as a Map without Roads & Places !. We have to keep in mind that this kind of Maps’ contributions are not easy. Roads & Places are a Major changes can be applied by a professional LGs who reached a high Levels and have experiences on Maps’ contributions. When we want to arrive any distension, like places, we navigate on roads using the GPS, driving, walking, or biking. Over the last year of 2019, I’ve added a 63 roads so far & from the start of my Maps’ contributions, a three Ys ago, I’ve added a 122 places, and I am very proud I’ve gotten this result approved by Googles’ Maps. I think I am the only Jordanian LG who added roads on the Maps !!. You can check that if possible. Ratting, Reviews, & answering Questions:
Once I attend a POI, I submit my review , rate it, and answer a right answers for questions when I receive them. Being honest, will be more helpful to the Maps’ users, and it’s kind of a notification to the owner of this POI. If my review is negative, the owner of this POI will try to do some changes to satisfy his costumers and not to lose them. In addition, people will take notes from the review and the rating for this POI. Got the master reviewer badge.

I wouldn’t become a SVTP if didn’t engaged the LG program. While contributing and watching the LG connect, I’ve caught that Post f by @SonyaN about the SV photographers, then I decided to engage this program also. It’s not easy to receive a congratulations E that I am a SVTP after uploaded more than 62 360 photos on the Maps and can now access the SV Area. Actually the SVTP has become my interest for Maps’ Contributions
