According to information received from the Bangladesh National Zoo Information Center, there are currently 2,199 animals of 206 species in the Bangladesh National Zoo. However, according to other information, there are currently 2,702 animals and birds of 153 species in the Bangladesh National Zoo.
Bangladesh National Zoo Visiting Hours:
Summer (April-October): 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Winter (November-March): 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
*** The zoo is closed every Sunday. However, it is open on public holidays.
Ticket Price-
Entry fee is 50 taka.
Free ticket for children aged 0 to 2 years
*** Entrance fee for the inner Zoo Museum- 10 taka.
In addition, if an educational institution applies to the zoo authority, a discount of 50% to 100% is given for student educational tours and up to 100% discount is given for educational institutions for orphans and mentally and physically disabled people.

All the animals in the Bangladesh National Zoo have to be seen on foot. Therefore, visitors should be prepared to walk to see all the animals.
