Hello everyone, actually I need a help regarding my most viewed photo on maps
this is my most viewed photo on google maps but the main thing is that I think this photo is very unprofessional as my thumb is coming in this photo and I am very confused because this is my most viewed photo too, that’s why I am confused whether I should delete this photo or not
Please help me solving this problem and suggest me what should I do
Hi @Prince_Kumar Generally everyone gets confused on a similar issue while using maps. See, you have already said that this is a very unprofessional photo as your thumb is visible. And I think on maps quality matters a lot more than views. Also, the photo must describe some useful information that can help the user to decide about the place. I have deleted similar kinds of photos before from my account. After all the decision is yours. I just expressed my views. All the best buddy.

This photo is quite OK except the thumb that got included unknowingly.
It is a helpful photo for the entrance of the school, I suggest you keep it @Prince_Kumar
When I visit Karl Huber School on my phone your star photo is auto-cropped to a square image, which conveniently removes your thumb from the image. On a desktop, this is not the case.
I think there is one more lesson to be learned from your image. The vertical iron bar I blocking viewers from seeing and reading the sign. If possible, I would have taken the shot from further to the left. This could make the vertical iron bar leave the frame and maybe also show more of the gate which I anticipate is an entrance to the school.

I think I would leave the star photo on Maps if it was mine. And make sure to utilize the lessons learned in future photos.

PS: One more thing to consider when making such decisions is to review the other 38 photos uploaded to the school. Many of them are quite blurry. And none of them shows the brown nameplate better than your star photo. But you could consider removing this one.

Contribuo para o Google Mapas desde 2006, e igual a ferramenta eu também aprendi, evoluí e fui me adaptando as correntes mudanças que o Google Mapas teve ao longo dos anos.
Atualmente eu tenho mais de 16 mil fotos publicadas, e sei que nestes anos de contribuições, muitas fotos não deveriam mais estar na minha conta por vários motivos. A qualidade das fotos digitais era muito inferior do que é hoje. Com certeza tenho fotos em duplicatas - pois o Google chegou a ter __*__três ferramentas distintas que permitiam enviar fotos ao Google Maps, etc.
Para melhorar o gerenciamento de fotos o Google poderia criar um filtro na seção fotos. Já existe um filtro onde podemos escolher ver as fotos mais visualizadas ou fotos enviadas mais recentes. Poderia acrescentar o filtro a dizer quais fotos e vídeos estão ocultos. Isso facilitaria muito gerenciar as fotos. Mas enquanto não temos um filtro assim, deixo para o Google a tarefa de mostrar ou ocultar fotos de minha galeria.
Quando o Google criou o filtro “mais vistas” eu olhei quais fotos estavam nessa categoria. Na época passei pela mesma dúvida que você tem agora. Havia algumas fotos que eu não gostava mais delas, mas estavam com boas visualizações. São fotos de uma outra época, estão no ar no mínimo há mais dez anos.
Se o Google não tivesse me dito quantas vezes foram visualizadas, com certeza eu já teria deletado, mas como o Google me disse que são fotos com mais de um milhão de visualizações, algo humano chamado “vaidade” me impediu de remover as fotos em situação similar da imagem abaixo. Ah, sr. Google, nos pegou de jeito com sua gamification.
Não gosto dessa foto pois: Está escura. Tem baixíssima resolução, que era a máxima resolução da época. Não recebe mais visualizações mesmo estando pública, pois o restaurante fechou 
Escrevo para dizer que entendo o que você está passando: apagar ou não apagar, eis a questão.

__*__Fotos que estivessem disponíveis nos serviços “Galeria de Fotos do Google” (Google Gallery), “Picasa” e “Panorâmio”, a critério do usuário, podiam ser enviadas ao Google Mapas. O serviço “Google Gallery” , ainda disponível, não é o Google Photos, é outra ferramenta.
ohh @gmapas você está contribuindo com mapas de 2006, o que é literalmente incrível porque comecei a contribuir com mapas de 2017. Realmente comecei a contribuir com mapas depois de uma década, isso é incrível e realmente levo sua sugestão a sério agora, pois você é mais experiente do que a maioria dos locais guias aqui
e por último quero dizer que a foto que você não gostou por causa da qualidade é bem melhor que a maioria das minhas fotos
e acho que a maioria dos guias locais terá esse problema e também ficarão confusos por isso, mas espero que este post os ajude muito obrigado @gmapas
