I need your HELP!! What do you see in these links?

Hello Local Guides.
I need your Help. What do you see in these links?

Why this question? Because during a test we noticed that different Local Guides, located in different parts of the world, in Desktop Computer have different views of the same area in Satellite View.

Would you like to help us and share a screenshot, taken from your Desktop Computer, of what you see in the following links?
Also please add the City - Country from where you take the screenshot. Please note that the test should be made On Desktop Only
Here are the links:

So let me start first
My Name: Ermes
City: Treviso
Country: Italy

This is what I see:

Link 2: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yoq6Fp9PTJ5cFqaE9

Please remember to capture the vie on Satellite mode Only. How to do this:

  1. click on the link to open the map

  2. Change the layer to satellite mode

  1. capture the screenshots and add them in a reply to this post, together with your Name / City / Country

I am inviting @MortenCopenhagen and @JustJake to share they results here too, as they already made the test

Thank you all for the help

Here’s what I see with Link 1:

Now, if I change Link 1 from .it to .com, here’s what I see:

And if I change Link 2 from .com to .it, here’s what I see:

Note that when I’m linking to .it I’m no longer logged in, even though I am logged into Chrome, Gmail, and Maps (.com) in the same browser.

@ErmesT in Google Earth you have the possibility to select the date when the satellite picture was taken. I was believing, I saw this also on maps, but don’t find it anymore and probably confuse it with the online version of Earth, unless there is some “hidden” option in Maps?

Thank you so much, @JustJake

What you show here convinced me to makes another test:

It doesn’t matter if I use .it, .com or even .de, .tk or .fr (I’ve tried all of them). What makes the difference in my case is if I am Logged in or not.

I’ve tried the three ways: Logged in (the image in my initial post), Logged out and Incognito (same result for both)

This seems to be the case for most of you, but @jayasimha78 is Logged In, and his view is different. Intriguing, isn’t it?

@MortenCopenhagen , @FlavioDA , @Gezendunyali , @WilfriedB , @PrasadVR , do you want to try and or confirm that what you see when you are Logged in is different/same of what you see when you are logged out?

Thanks to everyone.

I love Spoleto and all Umbria, @WilfriedB , where I’ve been a lot of time after the Earthquake in the area. Hope you are enjoying your stay

Thank you, @MortenCopenhagen

So you see the latest version of satellite imagery whether you are logged in or not.

Great

Correct, given logged out = incognito.

Keep in mind Google Maps operates with two regions: Where the user is located and what region the user is looking at on Maps.

I figure what we are looking at in this thread dependents on the location of the user.

Thank you, @FlavioDA , @PrasadVR

Of course @MortenCopenhagen , and in fact when I switched to incognito the browser automatically switched to Italian, while my default setting is English.

But it is interesting to see that when we are not Logged in we can always see the latest images while when we are logged in we see different images, depending on where we are

@ErmesT

It might be worth checking if your local or ISP cache plays a role in this.
