Hi @jarisnamhar

Welcome to the only official online community forum for Local Guides: Connect. Connect is a place for members of the Local Guides program around the world to share their experiences and to connect with other Local Guides in a single place.”

This is the first of the information that you will find in “14 helpful tips for using Connect” - The post will give you a full and detailed introduction about The community

Even if we do not contribute for perks (do you?) "Perks are offered to Local Guides from time to time as a thank you for contributing great content on Google Maps. You may receive a perk because you’ve consistently shared high-quality contributions, reached a certain level, or often review a category related to a perk. Perks may be offered to Local Guides in particular regions. To see where you are signed up for Local Guides, please visit your Local Guides settings… This is what you can read on Question about a Local Guides perk email? Read this first

Do you have a doubt about how to do something? The Help desk is here for you, with a long list of post with detailed indications on how to post.

Which kind of contents we share in the community? What are Connect topics? will give you an explanation

Hello @jarisnamhar

Whenever I get a “like” to my review, I feel like I have received some kind of perk for taking efforts to write a detailed review.

But surprise, I note likes in your reviews which simply describe a place in a single word “good” or “nice”. Isn’t that a magnanimous perk?

Hi @jarisnamhar ,

Thanks for reaching out!

Thank you @ErmesT for providing a complete answer. I will mark that as a solution. To learn more, please see, How do I mark comments as solutions.

P.S. I have slightly edited the title of your post to make it more relevant, thanks.
