Ever since I started using an Iphone as my workaround phone, I have not been able to contribute to google maps easily. It no longer takes the location from the photograph automatically. This means that the location has to be chosen manually. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

@Philemon-MX I guess, your photos are missing GPS tag. Have you tried enabling the option to record GPS location on the Camera app you use to take photos?

Firstly check you have enabled the location and geo tagging options correctly on your iPhone. If they are set correctly you can try manually changing the geotag for photos using either Google Photos App or this guide https://www.howtogeek.com/251326/how-to-geotag-photos-in-apples-photos-app/ (not sure how up to date this is though)

Have you tried using google map web, since your location is already enabled on your phone, google map web should solve your problem
