Hello, i am a Google Map Local Guide. Last month i got an email saying i was being rewarded a Google Map pin lapel and all i had to do was send my home address after visiting a page following a link and a code. After some days i got an email saying a gift was being sent to me from UK. Once the lapel gift arrived in India from UK, there were no further updates. I failed to put my phone number while sending my address to claim the gift. I wonder if my gift has been held up by Customs and whether i need to pay any custom duties/taxes. If yes, then whom to contact, as i failed in posting my phone number on my home address. The sender is ‘Brand Addition Google’ but i dont know who to contact or how to reach them, as only the sender and not the receiver can make an enquiry for tracking a gift. Please advise, fellow Google Map Guides!

If it has been longer than 6 weeks since you ordered your reward, please go to the FAQ page on the redemption website, enter your unique code into the “What can I do about a missing or damaged item” section, and submit. Our shipping team will look into the issue and get back to you.

I am a Google Maps Local Guide. Last month i got an email saying i have been rewarded a Google Map lapel gift for being a good local guide. The gift is unregistered and was sent from UK to India by DHL Post. All was well until it reached India and therefore there is no tracking information available. I am afraid it’s been held up at Customs and i have no way of knowing because my phone number is not on the parcel. All i know is that i am being advised to contact ‘Brand Addition Google’ who is the ‘Sender’ who has shipped the pin and is the only institution who can enquire about the gift parcel they sent to me via DHL Post. Please advise.
