I love making sure Google maps are accurate. I have shown up to a store that has been closed or shut down, and information wasn’t updated. I have missed out on spots because they weren’t on the map. I have called wrong phone numbers.
I use Google maps heavily, especially when I travel. It is frustrating when you look for something and nothing shows up in your search, even though you KNOW it must exist nearby. For example, the store closest to the village where my boyfriend is from is not on Google maps! How many tourists have driven an extra 15 minutes because they didn’t realize a store was closer?
I also love supporting good restaurants and service and love leaving reviews of my experiences so others can expect the same (or choose to steer clear when the experience is bad).
