I began to participate in the program “Local Guides” a long time ago, but at first it did not have any specific purpose. I just liked to leave photos and reviews about the places where I visited.
Over time, I began to receive monthly emails with information about how many people helped my review, how many times I was thanked for the published photo. It was very pleasant to read every time, and to realize that my review helped people.
I realized that this is really necessary!
My reviews help people like me to find a good eating establishment, or a comfortable hotel with good price and service, or to choose a theater with a good performance.
In addition, I myself began to use the advice of other users of the program “Local Guides”.
I love to travel, and for me the opinion of others is interesting about what places are worth visiting, in which restaurant you can have a tasty and inexpensive meal.
On a trip, Google maps help me always.
No matter where I go or drive, I can always count on them!
The trip has become simple and interesting, because I can find everything I need in the reviews of other program participants. Even while leaving for a new country for me, I don’t experience worries, reading their reviews, I can make the right choice.
I build my travels by reading reviews about a particular hotel and thus make a choice, and when I find myself in such a hotel, everything seems familiar and simple to me.
I began to share with my friends that I was a member of this program, they were surprised and said that I was great, because I’m not too lazy to do it. This gives me an incentive, I want to continue to do this.
I used to write short reviews, but now, realizing how important this is, I began to try to write in detail about everything that interested me, liked it, or vice versa.
My reviews also help local establishments improve, eliminate their mistakes, or improve service.
When I find new places that were not on the maps, I add information about them on the Google map, because this is the beginning of their path, they need to help become better, and help to get to know about them.
By publishing our reviews, we are definitely making the world a better place!
