I love travelling on the Tuk Tuk

Today I want to share 1 picture made in Kerala of 1 type of taxi that I think everybody know and everybody has been in South East part of Asia took It at least 1 time.

There are different way for call It But we can call Tuk tuk all the types of transport, with enjine or not, make with 3 tyres.

I love this way of transport from the First Time I have been in India and during some trips they accompanied me on beautiful Adventures.

Aniway It is called rickshaw in India were I pass some years of my Life But There are different name.

In Italy the Company Piaggio made One of the First One, that is called Ape and Is also know in this way in India too.

In Indonesia they called Bajay.

There are Many types and every types have different name.

Tuk Tuk Is the Name that everybody now and the Name used for explain everithing with 3 tyres.

You can check it on Internet too.

The people you saw Is the driver. I was on the back.

He made this beautiful picture for me.

I Always use It during my travels in Asia.

They are chipper and the driver know the Road and the city very well.

There are many types… This picture Is from Manila But this types with a motorbike are also used in many Country in Asia.

I Hope we can see One day.

Oh very nice shot, I thought you were sitting next to the driver and made that photo hehe. Yes they are indeed cheap but also very fast and easy, they know where to go and they are also always so kind :blush: . Nice one also the motorbike version, never see it LOL.

Nice picture and article.

This vehicle is called the Auto-Rickshaw and the distinction between a TukTuk is that the Auto-Rickshaw has a meter which shows the distance traveled and the money to be paid at the end of the trip and in which only 3 people can be seated. Whereas the TukTuk is much larger, can carry as many people as it can possibly pull, normally 8-10 people excluding the driver, and has a fixed charge over a fixed distance. At least that how it works in India :grin:

Hi @Giuseppe7980 you are right! Here in Indonesia we called it Bajaj/bajay, somehow you will find the other name Bentor or becak motor or becak. Thanks for sharing!

No problem @Giuseppe7980 if you insist on what everyone knows is an Auto-Rickshaw as TukTuk but that is misleading.

I appreciate that you wrote the article.

I am fine and the Covid-19 condition is improving fast and was always under control.

Did you capture that photo before the lockdown in India?

I have been in India Many times.

I have been the First Time when I was 19 years old…20 years ago’…the time fly.

At that time I start and I pass month travelling around from North to South.

I love India and all Asia.

In all my trip I never have 1 problem.

For sure I Will be back 1 day.

Next time I pass from Delhi i hope we can Meet.
