Today I want to share 1 picture made in Kerala of 1 type of taxi that I think everybody know and everybody has been in South East part of Asia took It at least 1 time.
There are different way for call It But we can call Tuk tuk all the types of transport, with enjine or not, make with 3 tyres.
I love this way of transport from the First Time I have been in India and during some trips they accompanied me on beautiful Adventures.
All good @Giuseppe7980 , thank you for asking, I hope the same with you as well!
Oh very nice shot, I thought you were sitting next to the driver and made that photo hehe. Yes they are indeed cheap but also very fast and easy, they know where to go and they are also always so kind . Nice one also the motorbike version, never see it LOL.
This vehicle is called the Auto-Rickshaw and the distinction between a TukTuk is that the Auto-Rickshaw has a meter which shows the distance traveled and the money to be paid at the end of the trip and in which only 3 people can be seated. Whereas the TukTuk is much larger, can carry as many people as it can possibly pull, normally 8-10 people excluding the driver, and has a fixed charge over a fixed distance. At least that how it works in India
Hi @Giuseppe7980 you are right! Here in Indonesia we called it Bajaj/bajay, somehow you will find the other name Bentor or becak motor or becak. Thanks for sharing!
