I live in the southern Alps of France
I love to travel in mountainous areas, there are many historical sights, many relics left after the Second World War, for example, military fortifications right in the rock, buildings built by Mussalini.
Far in the mountains you can see mountain goats who are allowed to approach.
I like all this taking pictures and telling others about it and being a local expert
I really enjoy this post. I am so fascinated by our war history. World Wars to be specific. These times have shaped who we are as a people and the fact that you’re so close to so many momentous locations is absolutely amazing. I’ve read so many war novels about the World Wars and the different scenes that took place in some of the areas you’ve described and definitely feel even more inspired to visit some of these historic locales.
