I discovered Google maps local guides program while I was travelling around the world to Japan.
As I didn’t know the country and neither the language, I used google maps to get locations and advice about nice places to visit.
When I came back home, I realised I could do it as well, and in this way, help people to discover really nice places in Transilvania, where my wife is coming from, and where we go on holidays once or twice a year!
The interesting fact is that Transilvania is very famous because of Dracula and Bram Stoker. but in reality, very few people have actually discovered this beautifull region of Romania, and everyone wonders what they can visit, what they can eat there, when to go…
I discovered myself as a promoter of the hole country, and at some point even made of it part of my profesionnal life, appart of beeing a local guide on Google maps.
