Something woke me up, it´s the alarm. It´s 7:30 am. It´s Sunday… It is riding day!!! Get ready with my gear: helmet, gloves, water and my best jersey for cycling!
I really love riding my bike every time I can, but Sundays are the most perfect days! With my husband and a group of friends get together in one spot and ride for about 30km around the city or look for mountain rails near the city. After the workout we go to a new coffee shop or restaurant to have brunch.
I really look for places that have real food, not from a can. I mean places that make their own bread, cook their own beans, make their own salsas and even better if the produce that they use is organic.
After having an Auto Inmune disease I been doing research and found that the quality of the food you give to your body really matters and makes a real difference in the way you feel: tired or energetic. So I chose to feel more active and alive rather than wanting my bed after every time I eat.
And that is my contribution to the group too, so they can have a tiny experience during the week about having clean and healthy food and feel better after working out.
I am also a small business owner and I like to support little owner operated coffee shops and restaurants, talk to them about their experiences and learn from it. After the meal, in the group talk about the experience of having real food and make my review about real food and real people!
Now, it is past noon… we have to ride back home, have a good bath and it is time to look for Sunday again!
