I love posting about all places, but Meat is my favorite

If my wallet and organs could sustain it, I would eat my way through every respectable steakhouse in the world - starting in Chicago. My go to steak is the bone-in aged ribeye. My dreams consist of A5 Wagyu and Japanese Kobe. Everything about fine dining steakhouses brings joy to my life. A well rounded steakhouse nowadays requires a lot of detail. From modern and chic to rustic and hipster, the ambiance plays into your experience with the meat. So many places across the country are bringing new meaning to the word steakhouse. Including caviar, seafood towers and nose to tail ingredients.

One of my favorite new Chicago steakhouses is BLVD. The decor, seating, layout and ambiance is stunning. You feel fancy as soon as you walk in. Their servers are attentive and professional, yet very friendly and casual. As as I entered, I actively started the mental reminders to absorb as much as I could in order to write a detailed review and share meaningful photos. It is easy to get wrapped up in any moment, dining, adventure, solitude or otherwise and forget to keep Local Guides on the forefront (or at least close) of your mind. You want to experience the moment, but you need to be sure you retain it and look for the distinguishing factors that make the experience great and therefore the review great. I chose this story because I still vividly remember planning my review during the meal and remembering to take pictures that were beyond just the food on the table. It was a gratifying feeling that a place and an online community had such an impact on me. Oh, and the meat was amazing, well prepared, well marbled, well presented and quickly consumed.
