I love Hsinchu

Hsinchu is the best area in the world, in my mind, which is quite similar to Silicon Valley in California but with even better life style, great nature view, nice people and wonderful food!

No need to mention several largest semiconductor companies in the world (TSMC, UMC, Mediatek…) are with their HQs in Hsinchu Scientific Park. We also have the best universities in Taiwan here in the city.

For sightseeing, no problem, You can drive to the top of mountain or reach to the beach all within one hour!

To serve local biz mostly supported by the professionals from all over the world, there are lots of new life style restaurants opened in the past 6 years since Taiwan Lantern Festival 2013, which was hosted in Hsinchu.

As the 6 star local guide, I am keen to keep contributing my passion and knowledge in Hsinchu so that more people will visit and like here.

I agree with you! I think Hsinchu is a hidden gem, since part of its old city view is messy and the main road (GuangFu road) is relatively narrow so the first impression Hsinchu gave visitors/travelers are usually not very well. But the outskirt of Hsinchu is decent - like Nanliao sports park, it has wide open view for people to enjoy the clear sky, breezy wind and blue sea. The city doesn’t have skyscrapers so luckily the sky is untouched, and I have to admit I changed my opinion toward this city a lot since I moved here, and I learned it’s good place to change people to become pure-minded and family centered, also nature-loving.
