I live in Paradise

My name is Gabriel Saka and I live in paradise. It wasn’t always like this, I was born and bred in the tropics but we all agree that the Cayman Islands is a different kind of tropic.

I’m a top local guide in Nairobi but once a local guide, always a local guide. I moved to the Cayman Islands in January for work and I can’t stop sharing photos for everyone to see. This place gets about 3-10 cruise ships dock on a single day. This may add up to about 55,000 tourists a day. They all need to visit places and enjoy the island! What better way to experience and explore than through Google maps.

I share shops and restaurants, recreation areas and breathtaking beaches, schools and playing ground. My favourite are monuments, things that bring lasting memories.

I’m Kenyan but in this year’s Local Guides Connect, I’ll be representing the Cayman Islands because that’s what connect is all about, making us all equal. See you there.
