Traveling is wonderful, and eating it is even more. We know a lot about cultures through their food. Food is part of the society and culture of a country and makes us participate in their ways of life, their industries and customs.
The food for me is very special, because it is part of my job, so I am passionate about knowing new flavors, to try and learn. Every time I travel I try to find a typical place, thematic restaurants and try the local products that surprise me more than once.
Normally many people eat the food they already know. In relation to this I like to go a little further and try to know and taste. And this is where being a local guide and sharing information on Google Maps becomes a gratifying activity. Sharing information about restaurants, cafe, and typical places of the sites I visit is my passion and I love that my photos help people decide what to try.
Since I am a food photographer, I am used to working with light, and only with my smarthphone, I look for a good place and I take the picture I need to show that I am eating. Many times we do not know what a dish is and with just one image we can clarify what it is about.
Share what food to select from the menu, I love it, and sometimes I share part of my work for the different restaurants I work with !.
Being a local guide is a great experience.
