I’m ridiculously excited to announce I just passed 15,000 points to become a Level 8 reviewer! I’m amazed and proud that my photos have over 5.5 MILLION views and my reviews have been seen almost as many times. I feel like I’m actually making a difference around my community and even my country. Thanks everyone who has encouraged me - you guys are awesome!!

Congratulations @MissKitty - it is by far not easy to reach level 8, so: well done! There is a typo in your post, though: you crossed the 15.000 points mark, not (yet? ) the 50.000 points mark.
If you want loads of useful tips to help you reach the next level, I would like to draw your attention to the LetsGuide Podcast, which is a podcast dedicated entirely to the Local Guides program and Google Maps in general. You can find it on the podcast homepage or in any podcast player you prefer. It has episodes on a wide range of topics like pictures, meet-ups and legitimate ways to score a lot of points, and also interviews with other local guides and with Googlers.
