When I first began contributing my experiences on Google Maps, little did I know that it would make any difference in my life, let alone others. I discovered many things on this journey as a Local guide about myself and about my surroundings. I feel it has given me a sense of awareness and responsibility!
Sharing about places where you can hangout along with your best buddies is what I love sharing the most on Google Maps. When we look back at life, what we see is just the highlights. And its our job to make these highlights the most interesting ones. Good times spent with loved ones, the best burger we grabbed every Saturday morning by the coziest riverside cafe, the amazing sunset we almost ran for every other weekend or the best coffee in town! What is important in all these place is ‘WE’. The people we share the beauty of life with.
I like to explore such places where I can take my special someone, my friends and family. It can be a hustling city center, a quiet little park, an amazing waterfront, annual festivals or a homely cafe. Some places offer good view, some good food and some places are everything. These places makes the heart so full with gratitude and upon coming back home I always like to share it with google so everyone else is able to experience the best places in my town. That’s what I was talking about when I started this story, the google local guide journey so far has been such an enriching experience for me.
I have this insatiable appetite for finding out new places, new experiences. I like to share all my good as well as bad encounters while doing so, thus helping at least a few people avoid the bumpy road and find a smooth one. I like to post all those important details of a place that I would have liked to see if I am on the receiving end.
So yep, that’s about it. This was in short what I jot down when I am writing about a particular place.
OK Google, take me to the Hotel Lakefront!
