The fact is: it’s been years since I started photographing the beautiful floors I’ve been through.
And I like to see the beautiful floors where other people have gone too.
It may be because of all the history they contain, by the marks and resistance to time, or just for their beauty… I really don´t know… It fascinates me!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you, the evolution of tiles nowadays make their beauty comes from many ways, from the ancient to the futuristic one. From the smallest to the biggest one.
I also have some pictures about it, but not only tiles. I mainly capture the ground that I stood in.
It’s not only about the beauty of the ground cover, but also as a remarks and visual memory for myself, how far I go
Looks pretty nice! I love collections of details like that! My favorite accounts in instagram are by local experts collecting little architectural features. I’d like to see more!
What a coincidence! So do I @Saint_Sennheiser =) Russia is, for sure, a place plenty of this. Isn´t? I dream about go there, despite the languange that I know nothing.
I can’t be very objective compairing Russia and the whole world cause I didn’t see any other country yet. But I think I can say yes cause our difficult ant unique history makes its special footsteps on architecture.
Don’t worry a lot about language, it’s not nesessary if you start from visiting “two capitals” - Moscow and St.-Petersburg - they speak English well or there’s always somebody around who can help. If you’d like to see much more and go further may be too if you stop in touristical areas. Or you can try to find a friend who would guide you somewhere.
Just to let you know, I’ve noticed that your post has a Portuguese language label tag. Please note, I’ve removed it, as your post is written in English. To learn more about those labels please take a look at the How do I find posts in my preferred language?
