aI have another map editing request for some two popular places in Bangladesh.

1. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital

Just a few days ago we noticed that it shows the Hindi name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital instead of Bengali. It seems someone changed it into Hindi name. We tried several times to change it by editing but it got rejected.

Here is the Bengali name - বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় হাসপাতাল

  • Please delete its Hindi name and replace it with the Bengali name.

2.Panam Nagar

Panan Nagar/Panam City is one of the prominent lost city in Bangladesh. We have several visits and a Local Guides Photo walk there. A few days ago I noticed that the place of popular Tourist Attraction is missing with thousands of reviews, photos & other contributions.

Here is the link I found from my save list.

There are two polygons AVAILABLE of PANAM CITY/ PANAM NOGOR but these are not reviewable.

  • Please reinstate the place with our all contributions.

We, the Google Moderators, do not have the possibility to approve or reject edits that have been made through Google Maps. What I can suggest is for you to be patient and to try edit the place in question once again in a few days or even better weeks. Hopefully then the information you’ve submitted will be confidently verified. I know this is not the answer you were looking for but it’s the best one I have.

Regarding the second part of your publication, please note that reviewing cities is not an option that is available and/or encouraged on Google Maps.

@KlaudiyaG Thanks for your nice reply. As you already mentioned that I will be not happy with the Answer but I know you have the best answer for any problems.

However, I have to share some information here - (I am sorry & apologize for the reply again)

  • We made more than 10 edits for Bengali name changes of BSMMU. It’s already posting on different facebook groups that spammers changing many Bengali names into Hindi. So when different users tried to edit this name separately, got rejected ( I had 2 times reject). Finally, It’s fixed now. Thanks for the procedure.
  • Secondly, the famous lost city and a tourist attraction of Bangladesh which had a POI on Google Maps has missing now. It’s not about the city or polygons it’s about a popular tourist attraction I mentioned in the main post.
