Hello people! My name is Larissa.
I am an original Ukrainian woman, an original Kyiver that has been living in Kyiv since she was born in.
First of all, I am proud of beeing Kyiver - citizen of the capital of Ukrainian and would like shortly to impress you with very interesting historical phenomenons:
- from the one part I live in city with more than 1500 years of history and from the other part I live in a young country Ukraine that has been having its independent for 27 years only. So now my native country Ukraine is younger than me J)
- also one impressive fact, has been living all my life in Kyiv I was living in 2 countries : till 1991 – in USSR. After – in Ukraine. Can you imagine that I live in the same house at the same street in the same city but completely in other country ?
Its not a mistake - its a real story of one East European country that happened due to geopolitical changes.
I know that for some of my writer Ukraine still songs only like the Motherland of famous boxer Vitaly Klichko and of famous footballer Andriy Shevchenko, or like a place to deliver events : Football championship UEFA Cup 2012, Singers competition Eurovision 2005 and 2017. Or place of orange revolution of 2004 and EuroMaidan of 2014, but really it has more longer than 1500 years story full of rises and falls. It is also city completely off-turned after huge fire in 18th century and the World War II in 20th century. Unfortunately, we are well known with nuclear disaster at Chernobyl station 30 years ago.
Even now days all Ukrainians are tended to built strong government and society with authentic Ukrainian language that we almost lost in USSR.
My lovely city Kyiv it’s a big enough city with a 6 mln citizens each year meets approximately 1 mln tourists.
My motherland people very intelligence, hardworking, goaltargeted, helpful, kind, joyful , beautiful and peaceful.
If you ‘ve never been in Kyiv,Ukraine - welcome.
If you ‘ve been already - welcome againe and you know your local guide now.
Sincerely yours, Larissa
