I can't upload good quality photo.

Hi all,

I would like to know is there any way I can upload good quality photos. I tried to upload my HD photos, Unfortunately, I failed. so then I compressed those photos to upload. Now photos look crap.

Any suggestion?. for resize and not to harm the quality.

This is in addition to the comments offered by @Aruni ,

There are many free/paid apps available to reduce the file size without losing the quality.
However, I use the simple built-in program in Windows (existing there for the past thirty-two years) to reduce the file to the desired size.

Hi @TheMohanaClicks ,

I avoid that limitation by uploading my pictures to Google Photos first. I use the setting they call High Quality and then post my pictures to Google Maps from there. Google Photos does a pretty good job reducing the filesize without loosing pixels. And in high quality there are no limits to how many pictures you upload. And it is free. I doubt any users will really appreciate or realize huge file sizes since almost all pictures are shown at small screens.

Maybe we can help you better if you share why you want to upload very high resolution pictures on Google Maps.
