I have added at least three unknown places to maps and they have been approved but I still haven’t unlocked trailblazer. I don’t know what more I can do to unlock this badge.

If you have done all the requirement here (https://support.google.com/maps/answer/9197204?hl=en&ref_topic=3257381 ), all you can do now is wait. Sooner or later you’ll receive the bagde. It’s normal.

That’s the problem, I’ve waited I’ve added two business’s and a location I’ve been notified they are approved and published and I can now even search for them. I added the business’s over a year ago now.
Hi @Revitalix its a little more than adding places, you also need to do.
Add the first photo of 1 place
Write the first review of 1 place
Add 1 approved place
Have you met the other requirements?

Hi @PaulPavlinovich , yes I have and those have registered and lit up it’s literally just add a place that refuses to unlock
Apparently someone at google was listening and the badge finally unlocked, I’m not hopeful about getting any higher than novice though 
@Revitalix there is most often a delay, which can take several days, between the moment that your edits/uploads get processed and the moment when the effect this has on e.g. badges becomes visible. So, this is not specific to your account, it hapens to all of us

@JanVanHaver the main problem I’ve had is I’ve added three places, two of them over a year ago and the third place is the first to actually register on the app despite all three being approved.
@Revitalix please check this support page, where it is explained that you will not credits for adding a place if that same place was already suggested to be added by someone else (prior to your submission), even though your edit is showing as Approved.
I guess this is what happened here.
