I cannot remove panoramas I uploaded with the GSV app

Hello,

I uploaded 96 panoramas to test the blue line creation and see how the pictures would render when being seen from desktop Google Maps.

While the blue lines did generate correctly, unfortunately the quality is too bad (taken with a cheap 360 camera) and I never managed to correctly configure the panorama orientation and connections with the mess that is the GSV app. And in the future this app is going to become useless as Google is removing the ability to connect panoramas

For those reasons I’m trying to remove those panoramas to only keep the few high-quality photospheres I created with the GSV app one year earlier.

But like I said the GSV app is a mess and every time I try to remove the pictures they still stay there. I’ve been trying everything: removing one by one, removing after selecting all of them or some of them, waiting a few hours or days to see if we have to wait for Google to process the deletion… but no luck. The panoramas stays listed in my GSV app, they stay visible on Google Maps and the blue lines also stay there.

How can I remove all the panoramas? Here is the beginning of the tour. I only want to remove the pictures I took in August 2018 and keep the few photospheres I created in 2017.

Thanks for the help.

Hi @L-C

The Street View board in Connect has been closed a month ago, and you can now find everything you need on the new Street View trusted Help Center.

If you cannot access the center, please let us know on this post, and we will contact a Google Moderator for granting you the access.

The Help area is especially focused on road street view, so i am sure they will address you in the correct way

I found that going to Google Maps, viewing our contributions and selecting the photo tab allows us to display the photos we uploaded, including photospheres.

There we can remove them:

No idea if it works with Street View collects but it would take too long anyways as we can only delete pictures one by one. But for single photospheres or small groups it does the job. I could remove my 96 panoramas this way.

@ErmesT you can mark this message as solution for other people having the same issue and finding this thread. Thanks.
