The thing that motivates me to share Google Maps is the the struggle against misinformation. If we say this in a positive way - the desire to give reliable information.
Unfortunately, we live in an age in which too much is dominated by images and too little is connected to reality. And this problem goes both ways.
On the one hand, places with large budgets and marketers can beautify their services by showing them in an unreliable way (you know filters, Photoshop, etc.).
And on the other hand simple and authentic places that lack marketing thinking and means don’t get the attention they deserve from us.
I believe we have a community mission of exposing the true beauty of things.
