How i become local guide?
It seems like yesterday when google maps suggested me to upload a photo from a place that I recently visited, that was 4 years ago, so that’s how my unexpected journey began. I uploaded the photo and meanwhile the time was passing by this picture was constantly increasing their views, i was very surprised that so many people have seen my picture, I’d have never expected that.
To me meant a lot to know that a simple photo helped so many people to make better decisions. Since then i feel very proud to be a local guide, i feel like a close friend recommending places to the world.
What does it mean to me the local guide program?
This program means a lot to me because i had always enjoy write about my experiences , and to have a space to share my ideas and my opinions of the places that I visit it’s just wonderful, all with the satisfaction of knowing that I am contributing to something that millions of people use. I’m always excited to see new places, motivates me to make an effort to make good and interesting reviews

On my side I became a local guide because I wanted to know what other features Google Maps can provide, I started going trough the app testing all the settings and I noticed that I can allow Google Maps to communicate with me, and I started getting suggestions and emails from the team.
