Making my city not only cool for locals but cool for everyone , it’s why I am on Google maps and I am part of the community.
I live in a really big city, which is a desert at the same time.Normally that would sound like a very tricky destination to visit for some people, but actually is more than just that, because of its people and traditions that make Lima a interesting place to know. Since you can find different activities to do , like doing a gastronomic tour and try the best sea food , chinese-peruvian food and traditional peruvian food from all the communities that made this place their home or maybe trying some paragliding by the coast in front of the imponent Pacific Ocean. It is the city for people who want to enjoy a new kind of tourism , where an unplanned event can lead to a meeting with the coolest people you could ever meet. That’s the magic of Lima and in order to help people get some of the magic my city can offer I want to do as much as possible to bring my help and knowledge of it to the Google maps Community, even if it’s just with some little tips I think it can make a difference. I’ve been helping for a while and I am really excited to be part of this project that is about making this world more connected
It’s good to know why you use Google Maps. If you are going to use this post in your Connect Live 2019 application, as a requirement it should be in ‘Local stories’ topic, not in this ‘How-tos’ topic. To change the topic, please follow the instruction given by @ermesthere.
Welcome to the Local Guides Connect and good luck for your Connect live 2019 application.
Thanks for your first post here and welcome to Local Guides community!
I’m interested to see more photos from Lima, especially when we have you as Local Guide who lives there to share with us the places to visit in the city and bring awareness about it on Google Maps.
I’m going to remove the Spanish language tag from your post as it is in English. I would like to invite you to introduce yourself in this monthly post and greet the other new Local Guides on Connect. Please also review these links to help you using Connect and following the guidelines: 14 helpful tips for using Local Guides Connect and Topic guidelines on Connect .
I’m going to move your post to the Local Stories board on Connect where the Local Guides are sharing their trending stories related to the area where they live in and how they improve Google Maps. The How-tos section of Connect is the board where you can share your questions or tips related to Local Guides program or your Google Maps contributions.
