I am Noure and I love food and sharing about it

Hi everyone !

I think that I’m not the only one, when I travel there is on thing I want or even need to start with, and it is tasting local food.

And to try the best restaurants of a city you need to prepare it in advance, because you usually don’t want to sit at a table of a touristic restaurant.

Google Maps is the best tool I have to help me preparing in advance my travel and more importantly the restaurant I’ll go.

From the different lists, posts, votes, advices, you can save any place you like and easily find them later.

That’s why I decided to give back to the community, especially the people from every countries that are coming to visit Paris. I rate every restaurant I do, that I like or not, to make sure that when you come in Paris you have all the information you need to choose what is the best for you.

So if you find my posts don’t hesitate to give me your feedbacks or ask me anything and I will try to help.

Talk to you ! Bye

Hi @N0ure ,

Very pleased to hear that as I follow your same philosophy. When I travel I tried to be as less tourist as possible and eat where locals are going. Which are your tips regarding this, are you usually search on internet before travelling or asking to friends that visited a specific place before you?

Which is your favourite cuisine and dish that you have tried so far?

Hello @Sorbe

I see that we also have the same tips

I usually try to ask some friends if they already went to the city I will visit and ask for their recommendations. But Google maps is my first place to check the restaurants I could enjoy. Usually also try to check some blogs. But know that I know localguidesconnect it will help a lot.

I have to say that the restaurants I will always remember in my life are the restaurants from Japan.

Before going to Kyoto and Tokyo I was kind of afraid to be disappointed because I was so much about Japan. It was fantastic, the food is exactly what I love. The people, the places, waaw !! As you can see I’m just waiting for something, it’s to go back again :joy:

By the way I created a list of Japanese restaurants in Paris that have the same taste and atmosphere than the ones I tried in Japan.

And you ? Which food did surprise you ?

Completely agree with you @N0ure ,

I started to appreciate Japanese food and Asian in general since I have started to live abroad.

In my country, Italy, food is great but it’s very difficult to get in touch with cuisine for other parts of the world for the quality and quantity of our dishes.

If you asked me about surprises I will definitely say Vietnamese dishes and in particular pho, an extremely rich and tasty soup. Considering that in general I am not a massive fan of soup this is even more surprising.

Have you ever tried it?

Ciao @Sorbe

Yes I tried it and liked it, I am a fan of dishes that mix sweet and salt .

You’re lucky to be from Italia, I m in love with your country. I went multiple times to Florence, Roma, Milano, Sorrente.

We have a very nice and cozy Italian restaurant in Paris, named Ciasa Mia. I think it’s the best rates but not the most known.

Managed by a couple from Italian mountains .They are so nice.

Did you already go to France ?

I have been a couple of times to France @N0ure ,

I have visited Paris couple of years ago and I had the chance to try fondue for the first time in my life, in a really cool place next to Montmartre where wine was served in…biberons.

I had some struggle with catching my piece of bread after submerged it into the melting cheese, but the whole experience was really funny and sociable.
