I was trying to add a missing place to google maps but i was not able to do so but yesterday i added a few places but there were no issues.please help me with this problem.

Adding or editing places is a feature that is not available in all countries. Most of the time this is not down to Google, but rather to Google being denied permissions to do so in some countries.
Where have you tried to add a place?
Can you please also explain the procedure used, and the type of place you’ve tried to add?

@ErmesT thankyou for the valuable piece of information.I think it was due to some technical issues.Now i am able to add places as usual. I tried to add a housing complex in the state of kerala,India

However be careful in adding Housing Complex. Many of them should not be in the map.
A listing can be added in the Map only if there is a management, with an office in the Location where the people can visit the business at predefined time
