Hi World, My name is Oscar Orellana and I am new in Local Guides Connect
My Nationality is Salvadorian but I currently live in the Philippines since 7 years ago. You will think why a person from Latin America is in Asia, a very far region from América. Well, I would like to share my story with all of you.
I got a scholarship in Japan in 2012, I studied Digital Video Production, and I was one of the Best Experience to be in Japan.
Then I met Filipino people and then I get interested about that country. The following year I travel to Philippines as a Tourist, and then I fall in love of the nature of the country, and I found very fast a job in a multinational company.
I stayed for 9 months and go back for the Christmas season to my country. I return the following year and continue working. Now I have a daughter.
My interaction with Asia was not first Philippines, no Japan, it was in India. I got a scholarship to study in India : “Entrepreneurial Management” in 2009. That was my first contact with Asia people. Maybe my destiny since that time was here in Asia, but at that time I don’t even knew anything about the Philippines.
Now I am stable and work in a Travel Agency. This is my passion, to travel, to show the people the world, and share with people beautiful moments no matter the nationality.
My favorite thing to explore: The World
