hi everyone, my name is Retno Tyas Ning Wikan, you can call me Retno/Tyas. I am a mother with one daughter. Everyday i am doing my domestic task and finishing my responsibility as a mother and a housewife. After being stay-at-home mom, i learned many things that i didn’t care before, such as comparing price for similar items, choosed product based on the quality and enjoy every trip as refreshment.
As a housewife, i have limited chance to shut out my opinion in my societies but after i knew Local Guide by Google, i felt i can be more than a housewife. before i met Local Guide, i was difficult to critism about incident or quality of service. Not only about critism, Local Guide platform showed me how to share information with others and praise their performance to serve me as their guest.
what i love as local guide?
1. I can share information about unexpected food stall.
I love “Bakmi Jawa”, this is signature dish from Yogyakarta City. This stall is my Parent’s favorit. in the first time i visited, i upset about the track, My parents showed me difficult track, we needed through small street and road alley. further, i checked the map for check the review but this stall didn’t come out. I surprised because the taste of dish is very tastefull, the best “Bakmi Jawa” that i ate. the price was cheaper than other famous stall. This was my first time to pin new location and i was happy because many people will have new place to enjoy their dinner in Yogyakarta.
2. your photo will be showed by others
everytime i published my review photo, google always reminder me about how much my photo give information in my societies and i happy for it. i felt my review not only important to me but also my societies too. As a result, i hope when i gave critism, the owner or goverment can upgrade their serving or facility to keep their guest.
3. Share your photo in happiness, i hope others will get happiness too
this is my parents photo when they came to Lombok Island, in this place, they enjoy the sun, wind and sea. They looked happy very much and when i shared it to local guide, i hoped people can enjoy this place as my parents. in Local Guide platform, you can choose beautiful place to killing time and refresh your mind. So, i hope other people can use local guide as their first reference.
4. My reward based on my voice.
as long as housewife, i was rarely get routine prizes or discount but in local guide, i just share my opinion/review, i got the discount for staying at hotel or discount for travelling by train and the most special for me, i got international package “Local Guide Socks”. Google knows very well how to serve their guide. They knows how to be loved and loving each other.
All in all, i wish i can be one of people who come to LIVE CONNECT 2019, i have a few opinion for google to upgrade local guide role. Thank you Google for giving me as Local Guide, you give me way to be more confidence to my self without forgetting my job as housewife and mother.
