Well, I am a Geographer by profession and a photographer (my hobby). As a geographer, I love traveling places. In 3 years of my stay in the USA, I have travelled more than 20 states, and have reviewed more than 200 places including places from two beautiful countries: Qatar and Nepal. As a photographer, I like taking photos. I want people to see the beauty of the place, therefore I share the beautiful photos of the places. So far, I have uploaded 700 photos and videos and they have got more than 600,000 views, Yay!!!
In nutshell, I am just a proud Google Local Guide.
I love people see the places through my reviews and photo and videos, and at the same time want the entrepreneur to improve their business. It occurred to me multiple times, once when I was in Minneapolis in a Nepali Restaurant (The Himalayan), the owner showed up to me and said, your reviews were so nice and we have been visited by more customers than ever. We tried to improve the things that you noted in your review. :-). When I visited Dave’s Foreign Car Service in Denton, for the second time, the man in the front desk talked about the reviews that I made a while ago. He said he took over the front desk just because I commented the lady in the front desk was rude and not friendly. He also mentioned the business was doing good ever since. I edited my review from 1* to 5* on that day.
Let me share one more interesting story. Hershey’s Palace in 5001 RiverOaks, TX used to be a different place. Now, its there inside the Stop & Save Food Mart. I happened to reach there. The Owner - Mr. Anthony Hershey who was a jolly man, was worried about his place because the google map shows his place in a different location (previous location) and was Permanently Closed. I talked to him and added a new place in google map, and also moved the previous location to the present location. He is the happiest man ever since.
